People are kind of vaguely against the wall, but then they trust the politicians who profit from it to end the war. Ridiculous. If people would quit whining about corrupt politicians and start holding them accountable by not VOTING for their asses. Or if they do, by keeping tabs on them and making sure they're actually carrying out their will we wouldn't be here. But people would much rather the MSM inform them of what congress is doing and villify independent sources like thsi website as "left wing nut jobs." This is what you call journalism, doesn't matter if its pro or anti-one particular party. Americans are to blame for how their politicians act. Period.
Wow you got a lot from my 2 sentences. I agree with most of it though. We need to stop voting for the same old politicians. I have an informal rule of voting against all incumbents, and I dont care about whether they need 20 years to understand how the govt works.

That is disgusting that John Kerry is making millions off of the war. Hopefully someone will run against him and boot him out

Re: Who is really profiting from the war in Iraq?

There is nothing surprising about this. After all, democrats "say" they want to get off of foreign oil, yet they oppose drilling in our own country. Probably, because they have an investment or are tied to the oil futures market, making big buck there too. They "say" they are opposed to the war in Iraq, but it looks like they are getting some very big profits from that.

They say a lot to get voters to vote for them. But, when the rubber meets the road, "they're no where to be found".

If true, it seems both parties need to shape up in the ethics department.

The Executive Branch employees have very strict ethics which include very strict rules on investments, conflict of interest, and perceived conflict of interest (GWB tightened those ethics rules up considerably, and there has been much house-cleaning because of it.)

The Legislative Branch should do the same and tighten ethics up.
My apologies, with all of the "D's" listed I missed the three "R's". Thank you for pointing them out so politely....
You bet your ass it was fucking polite. But, most are well aware of your bristlling at being corrected.
