Re: Democrats Cheat
So the Great and General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts acted to preserve the wishes of the citizens of the Commonwealth to be represented in the Senate by a Democrat.
Imagine a state legislature that actually responds to the will of the people, you Republicans must be horrified. You should have seen the backlash to this, why the people of the Commonwealth were uh, happy with their elected representatives. You know that Elbridge Gerry, Hero of the Revolution, Signer of the Declaration of Independence, Governor of Massachusetts and inventor of the redistricting scheme that bears his name, would have been quite pleased to see that the occupants of the New State House (completed in 1798, replacing the Old State House built in 1713) still retain their political acumen. God save the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
