Was checking something else out when I found this. I checked snopes on a couple of these here and there and they came up as truth. I didnt have time to check every one of them, but the few I did check goes against what some people here have claimed to be false but have turned out to be true.

I will admit some of these claims are out there but for the most part I believe the majority are the truth.

I had a really, and I mean really hard time fact checking this, as finding evidence of Obama having said any of this is next to impossible. And for me to break these down point by point just isn't possible given my time constraints. But I found someone who has, at least in part, broken down the first 46 points, and I thought it only fair to post it in kind, but it's too long, so here's the link.

Believe whatever you please, however reality has a way of making it's way into the discussion these days. Keep trying to smear Sen Obama and expect to be countered and shown the truth. The one I found most ridiculous was actually number 48.

When has being patriotic or not had anything to do with a person holding his hand over his heart or wearing a flagpin? Isn't patriotism a feeling or how you act and talk, as opposed to what symbolic gestures you might do? Are you really a patriot just because you got off your lazy ass and away from the TV for 5 minutes to slap on a "I support the troops" bumbersticker?

Will the op-ed or anyone defend this argument that a flag pin = patriotism? Lets hope so.

Well, two wrongs doesn't make a right...

BTW, does wearing a flagpin make you a patriot? Does not wearing one mean you're not a patriot? I'm merely asking because I've yet to see anyone address this question. It is one of the things Obama apparently gets criticized for, that is not being a patriot due to not wearing a flagpin.

I'm just curious as to how some members of the right side of the isle feel about it.
