Re: Ventura-Schwarzenegger 2016
Nope, Ventura would never win. He's an independent thinker and it is now forbidden to be so and be POTUS. You now have to speak in a way that doesn't really offend anybody but serves no one. Don't make us think, that reminds us of smart people, and we hate smart people because they think they're so smart. "Elitist" is now just as demonized a word in America as "Liberal". That's why Bush got elected twice; "he talks the way I talk". On the part of the electorate it's cold and cynical. It signals that the mainstream feels more comfortable if someone at their collective level is at the wheel, instead of an expert, someone more talented, a deep-thinker.
Ventura would be awesome, but his candor is no longer that popular; it's offensive. Same with Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, Chuck Hagel and maybe just a few others. But give me those 4 guys in the White House either in the executive branch or in a high-level cabinet position any day. They have the good decency to level with people even if we disagree with it. |

Re: Ventura-Schwarzenegger 2016
I think you're daft. 2 big morons for what, you mean the country??? You obviously don’t live in Kalifornia….Terminator is a boot licking jack ass that knows as much about running a state as I do producing a film = squat.
Gray Davis got recalled on the basis of a 9 billion dollar budget shortfall, Schwarzie is up around 18 billion.......and is a rhino, I gave Mclintock $2000 to run this populist jerk out of town, though he lost, it is till the best money I ever spent.

Re: Ventura-Schwarzenegger 2016
If he promises to appoint Carl Weathers as Secretary of the Treasury, I'd consider voting for this ticket. If Carl Weathers can turn used chicken bones into a delicious stew, I can only imagine the impact this guy could have on our spending problems.
