What are you trying to imply? That certainly sounds like you're saying bikers are worse than hoodlums.

As a biker, I'd have to offer a healthy, hearty, GFY to that kind of attitude.

My my, the bikers in this thread are a bit sensitive about their image, aren't they?

What's the matter bikers, don't like being stereotyped?

Actually, no I don't.

You know nothing about me - you just assume I'm an unkempt, classless thug, or worse, a balding middle-aged loser who thinks 30K and a leather jacket makes him a biker.

Now granted, I understand if you make that judgment about me if you see me flying colors, but even then that is simply based upon your own ignorance.

Its no different than assuming every black man you see in a Mercedes is a drug dealer.

Jefe is right, I wonder why so many bikers are emo.

Personally I never gave a shit about it. I was in an outlaw club in the late 70's and really didn't care who or what thought. That was long before RUB's. They wouldn't even think of riding a harley..........back then the only ones on Harleys were (real) bikers and Shriners.
I think the objections you are hearing might be based on how the same people that cry racist and bigot when it comes to stereotyping other "citizens" have absolutely no problem on deciding that bikers are trash. Just another footnote to the great liberal lie.

I looked real hard for some tit flashing in the McCain speaking at Sturgis photo but came up empty handed.........errr...........eyed.

I have news for you .........those people in the photo......they vote.
Again a false characterization to foment an argument about nothing. I think you are the first person in this thread to call anyone worthless.

So then what exactly was the premise for each of the threads on McCain @ Sturgis?

I've known people that have gone and Surgis sounds like a good time, but it's probably inappropriate for a president or presidential candidate to go.

Hmmmmm........a group of people that a president shouldn't stoop to speak to or "be around"?

Oh brother. McCain unwittingly volunteered his wife for a topless "beauty pageant".

Re: McCain speech at motorcycle gathering (merger)

I thought a big rally where you didn't say much of anything was just proof of being an empty suit. Now we're supposed to cheer this kind of thing. Hypocrisy is an amazing thing.

Re: McCain speech at motorcycle gathering (merger)

What you don't knoe, and probably don't ecpect is that the people that attended that rally will go home and tell their friends they need to get out and vote for McCain. For the first time in the 68 years that rally has been held, a candidate for POTUS came there to speak, meanwhile, Obama has just returned from a global ass sucking tour.

Well, for me, I started my thread, as a sarcastic quip in response to all of those who were hammering Obama's speech in Berlin, claiming that musicians and beer were the main attractions for the crowd, not Obama. Sturgis offered the crowd even more tantalizing attractions, and a crowd that by-and-large weren't there because of McCain at all. At no point have I said it was inappropriate, or that the crowd wasn't deserving in any way. In fact I gave praise.

Again, not my opinion. Sheesh, the least you could do is not jump to conclusions, and take your partisan blinders off. I thought you might have at least partook in the Obama Berlin thread and seen the irony.

I'm still waiting to see unedited video of McCain's speech, to get a better idea of his performance; as what I've seen from FOX News he looked more like a stand-up comedian.
