Again, not my opinion. Sheesh, the least you could do is not jump to conclusions, and take your partisan blinders off. I thought you might have at least partook in the Obama Berlin thread and seen the irony.

I'm still waiting to see unedited video of McCain's speech, to get a better idea of his performance; as what I've seen from FOX News he looked more like a stand-up comedian.
Try to keep in mind that you were not the only poster in the thread.
I'm waiting to see the speech too. Beyond that, I see it all as a positive for Obama. As of 2003, there were over 5 million registered motorcycles in the USA. These owners have spouses and friends, many of which vote as well. I'm sure the McCain appearance will be a hot topic on the m/c web sites post sturgis.

Of course, McCain was speaking to people who actually matter in this election: American voters...

And also to a large number of his fellow veterans.

If Obama chose to speak to his fellow veterans, I would be all right with that.

That'd be a pretty quiet room...

BTW, what are the democrats doing right now to lower oil prices?

Taking a vacation?

How is that helping poor Americans who can barely afford to feed their families and seniors who work and must choose gas over their medication?
And, what exactly should the Democrats be doing? What can they do that would have any measurable impact on gasoline prices in the next 5 years?

It proves that even the very prospect of increased oil production would lower prices. If all someone has to do is mention it and prices fall, what do you think's gonna' happen when the drill bits hit the ground?

Nothing.

And that's the point.

They'll do nothing...

True, but Obama has spoken to large crowds of American voters already, and they actually showed up just to hear him speak. McCain has yet to draw a large crowd on his own. Probably the last time McCain will be speaking to a large crowd is the Republican convention.

I dunno, I didn't have him figured for Sturgis, so who knows?

Its no different than assuming every black man you see in a Mercedes is a drug dealer.
LOL... I was just busting chops on you guys. I'm usually the last person to place stereotypes on others. My point was "stereotypes suck", and I think you agree with me there.

What your line of argument is attempting to do is trade an attack on the activities for an attack on the people. It's like saying "you hate the troops" because someone is opposed to the war. I call bullshit on that one.
Do you indeed?

I have read your post and cannot find any response to what I actually said.

So I will ignore your colorful obscenities and refer again to my point, which is, in fact, the larger one in relation to the original post. Both candidates - all candidates - must address and mix with various groups of people in various venues that may invite contempt, but are necessary in order to win an election.
