Just FYI, I have sain on more threads than I can recall how much I dislike Obama. I also dislike McCain for the same reasons, which I have elaborated on several times.

But if you don't hate the guy, why so MANY threads about him? Your taking every little opportunity to criticize seems pretty obsessive to me, and I think such a negative obsession can be a form of hatred sometimes.

In any case, I was just responding to your post. Don't think anything of it, and I'm not going to personalize the thread with this, as it would look like an obsession.

I agree, and I find the same thing happens when far left liberals start posting in a thread.

I think any time you have folks preaching ideological imperitives and extremes, rather than trying to agree on a common sense and mutually beneficial application of those ideologies in the real world, the quality of the discourse is going to suffer.

Who are these "far left" people? I've only encountered a few people who have admitted to being a communist or socialist. In fact the people who seem to be farthest to the left on this forum are firmly in the Republican party and proudly admit it.

The war in Georgia only proves that Russia is up to no good once again.

It also proves that putting a dickwad like Obama in the White House is a dangerous proposition.

With the help of Liberals we are pretty much handcuffed because we can't lift a finger to help anyone right now. All of the lies that have been published all over the world has helped give everyone the false impression that America doesn't stand for anything. Put a Democrat in charge and this is a fair assumption because they don't stand for anything and they don't scare anyone. It reminds me of the bad ole days of Jimmy Carter. It took a man like Reagan to scare the piss out of everyone.

Utter fantasy. There is no factual basis for your statement, and the dickwad we have in the WH right now is far, far worse.
