Re: University won't open Obama-related records now

OK, so Obama is on the board of a non-profit whose goal is to improve Chicago public schools, along with Ayer who is now a respected member of the community.
What do you think they did at the Board meetings, planned revolution?
I'll bet they discussed how to allocate funds to public schools to improve the quality of education.

Some commentators have said Ayers educational ideas are on the extreme left of the spectrum but those attempts to reform edcucation is not really the point. The point is Obama has tried to minimize his relationship with him. To the point of lying about it.

Now, if a politician attempts to minimize his relationship with a lobbyist or someone who has gotten into trouble with a non-violent violation of the law (something both candidates have done) it's one thing, but to minimize a relationship with someone like Ayers is at a different level. If it's not different, then fine, let Obama air the issue honestly and completely and the American people will decide if it's important.

He won't do that though because he knows it would sink his campaign.

I don't care if Bill Ayers tries to become the next Mother Teresa. Unless he renounces his support for his tactics in the '60's, and pays a price with a prison term, then he's just a scumbag terrorist. Obama's relationship with him shows, at best, poor judgment.
