We know that you saying these christian holding signs against gays are just a bunch of republican far right christians when in fact Fred was a huge supporter of Gore and Clinton. He has a long history of voting and supporting democrats.

I don't know if he's Dam or Rep. Perhaps you have a link or something to offer.

But logically speaking it's hard to beleave he's a Dem, Phelps hates gays, and service people. I've ran into him and some of his flock on more then one PGR ride. The way he's feels about gays and such is the opposite of the way the Dems feel. So I don't think they are a match, I could be wrong. Perhaps you have some prof to show us.

It doesn't matter what party Phelps is a member of, IMHO - he's a lowlife piece of crap any way you cut it.

But, I want to make it clear that this particular scum should not be pasted to the GOP, as many try to do.

I just don't generally wonder which party someone belongs to. It's easy to tell which party people on this forum follow, but when I meet someone on the street , the thought of politics don't come to my mind.

He's nominally so from Dixiecrat roots, and that's not to imply Phelps=Dixiecrats, just the historical reason why he's a Dem. Gore had that photo taken back when he himself was a Dixiecrat. But today Phelps hates Dems--even said Gore, Clinton and the rest are going to hell, no surprise there. But he hates Republicans too, an equal opportunity hater.
