I see no relationship.

I guess the closest thing to Michael Moore would be Mel Gibson, but of course Gibson isn't trying to push fiction and call it documentaries.

Thinking hard... I can't really come up with a right equivalent of Moore. Limbaugh maybe? Because his commentary has become more show than substance? But, that's not right either. Limbaugh is commentary. Moore attempts to make himself, and his work, appear to be documentary. He takes a little bit of truth and spins a grand tale to fit his political mentality. The thing that gets me is how much credibility the media and Hollywood gives his "documentaries".

Are there any right wing film makers who even come close? I can't think of any.

They dropped Michael Moore as being legit long ago. When you bring it up they go "What....What......I never said he wasn't full of crap!!"

"Even Liberals treat him like a disease these days!!!"

They got what they needed from him and shit-canned him like a pair of dirty socks.
