Using correct forum

Everyone is getting away from correctly using the new forums in this section.

When opening new threads that specifically discuss a particular candidate - please place that thread in the new forums for each candidates.

Thank You

Re: Using correct forum

This is why I'm against those sections all together. It doesn't make any sense.

Why not? It keeps things slightly more organized.

And I'm sure your opinion will be given all the consideration it deserves...

It certainly has.

How so? It's just one more little click. Surely it isn't too taxing on your poor hand?

Re: Using correct forum

There aren't that many members who actually post here in the first place, and to spread out the topics to several sections just doesn't make sense. Keep it simple. Whenever I come here, I go to only one section, so my opinion in any other section is not there. BTW, the entire forum is the forum. The sub -sections are just that ...sections, not forums.

Re: Using correct forum

It's hard to keep these threads from spreading out a little bit. Topic drift is a fact of life, usually because the original thread is narrowly focused.

I'm never bitch about moderation here, but when I occasionally drift off-topic, especially for a few specific responses, deleting them with no prior warning, especially when I take the time to try to make them count is annoying.

Re: Using correct forum

Many items fit under more than one forum classification - breaking news about a withdrawal of a candidate in a political race can either fit into breaking news or the political parties, candidates and campaigns forum. Rather confusing.

Re: Using correct forum

Shouldn't this thread be in the Suggestions/Comments/Questions forum?

So you want us to do your job? Will you put "moderator" under our names if we cooperate?

I think what he was trying to say was that when you create a new thread, put it in its proper section. I don't think he was trying to say "when you find a thread that doesn't belong, do our job and put it in its rightful place, please and thanks."

This is why half the moderators lack a sense of humor. Poor things.
