The Obama camp is in a pickle, and I will admit not wholly of their own personal making but none the less they own it.

By this time many people tune out when they see another Palin attack. The media, attack dogs for the cause of Obama, carpet bombed Palin, like instantly.

Not even a breath was drawn before they began the whole mantra….they questioned mccains judgment on picking her vetting her which came off as some arrogant mechanism by which they were seen as pouting that they were fooled and blindsided, Never mind that Clinton met Gore once in 88 and then 6 days before he chose him as his running mate. They applied their own ravenous destructive logic sans any context.

This did 2 things, it energized the republican base mightily, and, swayed moderates as moderates wanted facts, not personal destruction based on differences in outlook or tabloid bullshit.

People saw this as a piling on, and the fact that the media chose her daughter as a target, and created a loopy KOS like myth regards her claiming her daughters baby as her own, that even when they present real and factual evidence that would lead to a logical re-evaluation of some of Palins platforms or character, they have engineered a self imposed tune out because they beat her to death from minute one.

Let me say straight up that is has accrued to Plain an unfair advantage as in to an extent shes bullet proof for now. I don’t want anyone to be bullet proof, non zip zero.
The only person that can destroy Palin now is Palin. If the media had taken a measured calmer approach they would have had a shot at presenting any and many of Palins fallibilities of which I am sure there are many… now? Not a chance.

Plus just plain sloppy reporting, even when they thought they had her on some issues like pulling funding for special needs children, the book ban issue etc….

IF mccain wins, the media shadow will hang over the dems long and dark, that which was seen as a advantage has now become a detriment.
