100,000 In St. Louis for Obama, This Ain't Berlin
Well for all you Obama haters who poopoo'd his showing in Berlin, I give you St. Louis, Missouri, October 18, 2008.
This was the largest public gathering in St. Louis since 1908. Obama Draws 100,000 at St Louis, MO Rally Oct - 18 - 2008 100,000 hear Obama speak in St. Louis ![]() Maybe McCain should try holding a rally on a weekend. Good thing Obama held this rally on a Saturday so all of his working supporters could show up.

McCain is a tired, angry, old man who has no honor and no dignity. Beyond that, his speeches are predictable and hollow, my friends.

you could have waited at least an hour before trotting out "transformational" ideology which In find preposterous ....except of course unless the idea is to transform more folks into government dole recipients yes I wholeheartedly agree....

Re: 100,000 In St. Louis for Obama, This Ain't Berlin
huh what? he now says that the tax credits see: handouts/welfare are payroll taxs that he is returning to folks who have no tax liability. Read the speech dude, he says he giving tax cuts to people who work and pay payroll tax is not welfare...you didn’t read his speech? ...so hey you’ll shortly be funding some else’s social security as well as your own, and of course he didn’t address the employer matching on payroll tax which I am dead sure he meant to pass over as he intends on employers to keep paying it....good luck on that, see how convoluted this is? Hes scrambling and doesn’t make sense. Why? Because the mask has slipped and he has no honest answer and method to explain to folks that he wants to pay people money they did no contribute, so he made this shit up which is absurd.

...in what way would he be transformational? When Powell said that he had me scrambling for a viewpoint that sppts that...I don't see it...do you? The only one I can think that would be transformational is turning us into a European styled socialist economic entity....

Oh, I think it still would've been an impressive crowd without those 100 people, don't you?

Re: 100,000 In St. Louis for Obama, This Ain't Berlin
I was there in 1981, at the very same spot, when there were over a million people. It happens every 4th of July when St. Louis has a party there. 100,000 is chicken feed for St. Louis.

Do you think that the only real "transformation" is when Republicans change "bad mortgages" into "big commissions?" Barach Obama says that John McCain is "out of touch" with the needs of the American people. Perhaps you share the same malady? |

Huh? Have you considered saying anything that actually makes sense?
