Exclamation Obama Compared America to Nazi Germany

Obama Compared America to Nazi Germany

The audio recording of Barack Obama espousing his socialist philosophy of “redistribution of wealth” is all over the Internet and Fox News today (although most other media outlets are ignoring it), but there’s another disturbing section on that tape that has so far escaped notice.

Quote:
“...just to take a, sort of a realist perspective...there’s a lot of change going on outside of the Court, um, that, that judges essentially have to take judicial notice of. I mean you’ve got World War II, you’ve got uh, uh, uh, the doctrines of Nazism, that, that we are fighting against, that start looking uncomfortably similar to what we have going on, back here at home.”
There you have it. America is close to electing a President who compares his own country to Nazi Germany.

Re: Obama Compared America to Nazi Germany

So are we still supposed to believe this man loves this country as much as he claims to, when we are all labeled BY HIM to be racists, "supports of the doctrines of Nazism", haters, uncaring, clinging to guns and religion, ect. ?

Why would someone want to lead a nation he loathes?

Pretty desperate.

Don't you realize that, after so many, many lies, no one will believe this?

Re: Obama Compared America to Nazi Germany

Please point out the "lies".
This thread is based on a direct quote from Barack Obama.
Listen to the audio.
No lies here, Forester.

But the truth is that at this point, Barack Obama could do just about anything and not be
held accountable or in judgement for his behavior. He is above scrutiny, the media's sweetheart,
and has been selected to win by the media and leftist elite.
To oppose Obama at this point makes you out of touch, a racist, and an obstruction to "Change".

I think he was talking about the 'social war' that was going on at the time, and the rise of the white supremists at the time... but don't let sense get in the way...

What a bullshit argument. In your nation, roads are named after Nazi parties. I got news for you: there is racism in the US, and often enough you can encounter the same mentality which paved the road to the holocaust. Is it wrong to address this and fight it?

Also, your quote lacks any specific accusations, yet you are directing it at your entire society. I think what we see here is another desperate attempt to create a "bombshell", a wave of pseudo-outrage. But I got news for you: McCain's been trying this for weeks now, but the american people is sick of drinking the neocon kool-aid. This election is about the issues, and that's why the conservatives will lose.

Screaming Eagle did you not read the quote you put up?

He clearly says..."Nazi doctrines...we are fighting against...can be seen here"

Your desire to block him from removing racist attitudes in the U.S. shows me that you are truly un-American.

Sorry, Mitch, but the only time Obama pulls the race card is when it benefits him.
He does not give a damn about minorities in this country.
Need proof? Just look at the horrible shape the communities are in that he was "organizing". He never accomplished anything in Chicago. The ghettos are still ghettos.

I think the comparison was probably not valid, but there are elements of similarity as Obama contended. He likely used the term "Nazi Germany" for effect, so I think it was misplaced, unnecessary and slightly hyperbolic.

But, in no way is he comparing modern America to Nazi Germany which seems to be the purpose of hoisting up the headline. People who have a short attention span or lack the desire to look into it will have a very simplistic, and twisted take away. But I guess that's the idea, huh?

Read his book. He left there because he felt that he was having a very small impact, rightly realising he needed more more power to do any good, and thought he could do better further up. I know from personal experience that its very ahrd to make a difference to these communities just by 'organising.'

Yep. Pretty much.

I find it strange that cons/rights lack imagination over even the simplest, stupid-ass things.

Ah, life on earth never changes.

On the contrary... I'd say McCain proponents (but not all conservatives or "rights" as I'm pretty conservative myself) have demonstrated great imagination with all their varied attacks in this election cycle.

When there's nothing there, you have to make shit up.
