Obama Compared America to Nazi Germany

The audio recording of Barack Obama espousing his socialist philosophy of “redistribution of wealth” is all over the Internet and Fox News today (although most other media outlets are ignoring it), but there’s another disturbing section on that tape that has so far escaped notice.

There you have it. America is close to electing a President who compares his own country to Nazi Germany.

So are we still supposed to believe this man loves this country as much as he claims to, when we are all labeled BY HIM to be racists, "supports of the doctrines of Nazism", haters, uncaring, clinging to guns and religion, ect. ?

What a bullshit argument. In your nation, roads are named after Nazi parties. I got news for you: there is racism in the US, and often enough you can encounter the same mentality which paved the road to the holocaust. Is it wrong to address this and fight it?

Also, your quote lacks any specific accusations, yet you are directing it at your entire society. I think what we see here is another desperate attempt to create a "bombshell", a wave of pseudo-outrage. But I got news for you: McCain's been trying this for weeks now, but the american people is sick of drinking the neocon kool-aid. He does not give a damn about minorities in this country.
Need proof? Just look at the horrible shape the communities are in that he was "organizing". He never accomplished anything in Chicago. The ghettos are still ghettos.

Thank you. Even though that youtube clip was just an excerpt, you could tell that it was a historical comparison.

The topic of the radio program was treatment of blacks under Jim Crow laws and segregation....

Discussion of the 1920's, 30's, 40's, 50's South is, what drew a comparison to Nazi Germany.

I think the comparison was probably not valid, but there are elements of similarity as Obama contended. He likely used the term "Nazi Germany" for effect, so I think it was misplaced, unnecessary and slightly hyperbolic.


But, in no way is he comparing modern America to Nazi Germany which seems to be the purpose of hoisting up the headline. People who have a short attention span or lack the desire to look into it will have a very simplistic, and twisted take away. But I guess that's the idea, huh?

Read his book. He left there because he felt that he was having a very small impact, rightly realising he needed more more power to do any good, and thought he could do better further up. I know from personal experience that its very ahrd to make a difference to these communities just by 'organising.'
