Re: Republicans Should Focus On Increasing Number of White Voters.

FiveThirtyEight: Politics Done Right: CNN Poll: Record Support for Roe v Wade? You can be "against" abortion, but still favor a woman's right to choose. In the same way you can be against smoking, and not favor the prohibition of tobacco. And the significance is that Roe v Wade is a political issue, whereas opposition to abortion is a personal issue. Getting 70% of a voting block is something you can do with a minority, that is focused on one or two issues. Getting 70% from the largest voting block is a tough nut, because both parties primarily target that group with their policies. Despite the rhetoric, the Democratic platform is not aimed at minority voters, it's principle focus has always been middle class voters.

You don't know?
(I pulled this from the liberal handbook) 1. Make sure only the white race survives 2. Exterminate those that hold different beliefs 3. To make sure God is the ruler of all science books 4. To inbreed 5. To hoard all of the resources |

Re: Republicans Should Focus On Increasing Number of White Voters.
I think the Republican party should get back to being a conservative party and stop trying to be the Republican party that Democrats want them to be. When they do this they will find voters of all races coming back to them.

Re: Republicans Should Focus On Increasing Number of White Voters.
I'm a Democrat, and I want the GOP to be the Conservative Party, pull in a solid 30% of the vote nationwide, and even have some Senators from a few states in the south. The GOP I fear is the Rockefeller Republican Party, that appealed to moderates and even some Liberals, keep that scary thing under the bed.

If you really believe Rush and Hannity are the spokesman for true conservatives then I can understand why your posts are so off base when referring to those on the right. |

There's a huge difference between Republicans and conservatives, namely that they have become mutually exclusive. I wouldn't expect a Libertarian to understand the difference.
