But oh yeah...i forgot...we need weapons to overthrow the government at some point...
I need my guns to hunt deer, which I have processed, and dine on. Lower in fat than beef, so healthier for me.

I also need my 15 clip pistol in case someone invades my house and wants to kill me when they take what I own. And chances are, the guns they own, won't be legally purchased guns.

Whenever we reach the point that we can completely trust ALL humans not to do us harm, THEN, I will agree that guns have no place. Until that time, I see your stance as rather silly and not of the reality that I dwell in here. And I have never had a cop at hand when I really did need one. They are always too late, and after the fact.

No, it only shows that one of them must have slipped up in some way. Since so many here are against the authorities being able to investigate those who have multiple buys of semi-automatic assault rifles, aren't they and others like them really to blame?

Oh really? Where does the article say one of them slipped up?

Nobody has said they're against authorities being able to investigate multiple buys of so called, "assault rifles". Do you have quotes?

So, posting just for the sake of arguing against something. On this forum, in another thread, having authorities given the ability to investigate people purchasing more than 1 assault rifle a day was damned as too much regulation.

I don't care to do any research because someone who just wants to argue, demands it. You could get off you lazy butt and do that yourself.

Calm down hoss, I didn't demand anything. I simply asked if you had any evidence to back up your claim. I guess I shoulda known better.

I find that in this forum, when people have no more logical, factual arguments to offer, they try to put the ball in your park by repeating the same demand: "give me a quote!" or "give me a link!"

But when you do offer the link. . .there is no answer!
    Avoidance behavior. . .

Sure. It has been said over and over that 2nd amendment rights say anyone can buy anything. I asked if that included buying hand grenades, Claymores, etc. and got no answer.

But I am willing to gamble that the gun rights people here will say again, within 48 hours, that any attempt to regulate the sales of firearms is against the Constituion. And within another 48 hours they will be saying again to show them the quote where they said it.

Its a never ending game of denial.

All that stuff is already regulated, so kind of a moot point really.

The fact of the matter is, this gun ring was broken up using existing law. Why do we always think adding law after law after law is going to help the situation? Most of the time existing law is sufficient.

I see. No laws!!! NO LAWS!!! Well, yeah, we already have laws. Those are ok. NO NEW LAWS!! NO NEW LAWS!!

So that is pretty much your new position on the matter?

By the way, this issue in Arizona was not about new laws. That was not even a part of anything. What was new was that ATF asked legal gun dealers to report multiple weapons sales. It didn't impede the sales, it did not require approvals, reviews, or any such thing. Just a report when an individual bought quantities greater than one would normally expect from an individual.

    Strawman purchases, if you will.

You still didn't answer my question. You believe it is OK for an American to buy 20-plus AK-47s per day, day after day, especially when you know that some of the serial numbers sold have been tracked to drug cartel killings of 15,000 people, including cops? That is OK? Killing cops is just a price we have to pay to protect your freedom?
