We get it. You have no argument and you can't back up anything you say with any empirical evidence. We get it, you will support a RINO because you yourself are a Leftist/Progressive pretending to be a conservative. We get it, you would rather support a Globalist RINO who voted for the Fairness Doctrine, The Dept. of Education, introduced the individual mandate as an alternative to Hilarycare, endorsed a book calling for a Socialist world government, and who supported Federal funding for abortions in cases of incest and rape in 1995 than vote for a man with most conservative voting record in the Congress out of 3320 separate Congressmen/women since 1937 and has never voted against the Constitution, for a deficit, for added debt, or an unconstitutional program. It's cool. I won't be pouting man, hell I'll be quite happy to give the RINO GOP a defeat it won't ever forget. I get my way, either way. If Paul is the nominee, sweet, I get my way. If he isn't, sure I'll be disappointed, but I WILL NOT POUT. I will laugh my ass off when Obama beats the RINO candidate in 2012. The GOP lost its way, just like Limbaugh has said for 3 years now. He is right. And you will suffer if you nominate another fucking moderate liberal RINO. Not only in this election, but for years to come. This movement has grown since 2008 and it will continue to grow. We are electing people at the local level. We have a few in Congress. You are fucking up bad by ignoring us. Because even if it isn't in 2012, we will win. Eventually. Our numbers will grow and overtake you. When the weight of our foreign policy and the welfare state collapses the dollar, everyone will see that Paul is right.
You will be pouting buddy. Hell you'll be pouting come Jan. 3 2012, mark my words. Again, I say:
CHECKMATE!

I actually already posted it in this thread or another, but sure:
Co-sponsoring the bill:
The PJ Tatler » Newt Gingrich Co-Sponsored the 1987 Pro-Fairness Doctrine Bill
Flashback: Newt Gingrich Wanted To Reinstate The Anti-American “Fairness Doctrine” | A Time For Choosing
"The Fairness in Broadcasting Act of 1987 (H.R. 1934) sprung up immediately after this latter vote to try to turn the Doctrine into law. Then Georgia Congressman Newt Gingrich was one of its 71 co-sponsors."
Here is a pro-Fairness Doctrine video, skip to the 1:00 minute mark, it shows Gingrich voted for the bill.
WHAT IS THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE? - YouTube
The Fairness Doctrine Page « Dvorak News Blog
"In 1987 a bill to place the Fairness Doctrine into federal law passed the House by 3 to 1, and the Senate by nearly 2 to 1, but it was vetoed by President Ronald Reagan. Among those voting for the bill were Rep. Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) and Sen. Jesse Helms (R-N.C.). In 1989 the Fairness Doctrine easily passed the House again, but didn’t proceed further as President George Bush threatened to veto it. In 1991, hearings were again held on the doctrine, but President Bush’s ongoing veto threat stymied passage."
A blistering reality check on Newt Gingrich | The Right Scoop
"Of course he does. Newt Gingrich has all the admirable qualities of an autodidact. He’s energetic and occasionally lobs a challenge at weak intellectual orthodoxy.
Unfortunately, he has all the horrible qualities of an autodidact:a tyrannical streak and an egomania that is impervious to the reality of other people.
And, yes, Newt Gingrich always has ideas. He has 5-point plans for fixing everything. He’s constantly pitching these “solutions.” Ever wonder why Newt Gingrich has so many ideas?
It’s pretty simple. Ideas come to you easily when you have no principles to get in the way of your roaming untrained intellect. So what are some of the ideas Newt Gingrich has promoted? Are they even conservative ideas?
He promoted the return of the Fairness Doctrine.
He was for a federal individual health-care mandate, the lynchpin of ObamaCare.
He was practically spooning Nancy Pelosi in commercials about the need for government action on global warming.
He supports green energy projects [Solyndras] and farm-subsidies.
Even as late as this year he was pitching for more government intervention in the health-care system at the progressive Brookings Institution."
And besides, why would a person co-sponsor a bill, then not vote for it.

I'm ignorant? This coming from you. I think you've made enough of a fool of yourself in these several threads about Gingrich that is clear to see, from anyone's perspective that you are the one who is ignorant. I mean you just asked for proof for something I already linked evidence to yesterday, which of course you ignored. That or you just can't read. I'm not sure which one.

Oh well...There is no talking to some. Substructure isn't proof by the way. But have at it. Tell me how that isolationism you practice is working out for you. The rest of will live in the real world dealing with real problems.
Moderates are not republicans

Gingrich is actually a rather progressive Republican. There's nothing in his record that would indicate that he's to the right of Mitt Romney. He hates Democrats more, but that's not ideology, that's politics.
A balanced budget says he is right of mitt
Moderates are not republicans

Mitt not only balanced Massachusetts' budget, he cut spending by 10% in his first year. He also balanced the Olympic Committee's budget when they had gotten themselves in a hole.
I like Gingrich, but and I'll vote for him if he gets the nomination, but I don't see why I would support him when I can have my choice of three governors that share his politics and have executive experience.
Vote as you wish . I trust newt more than mitt. Could be cause I am from Michigan like him and see him for the slimball he is.
Moderates are not republicans

No question, Mitt's the kind of guy who will say whatever his audience wants to hear. But he does have a good record, aside from that health care thing, and even that's not really his fault. Newt would have done the same in his position. Newt did do something similar in his position, actually.
I somehow dont see killing Hillary care as the same as creating it.
Moderates are not republicans

Gingrich had the leverage to kill it politically. Romney did not. So he helped mold it into something a little more conservative than it otherwise would have been.
