That would mean that letting your dog hang his head out the window is also stupid and dangerous and cruel.

A dog kennel, sometimes referred to as a "crate," is really no different than a gun or a post hole digger or many other things:
Used in the right way, there are many benefits to be derived, and it can be a useful, helpful tool.
Used in the wrong way, it can be dangerous, damaging, and even deadly.
Putting a dog crate inside a vehicle is fine. I think the argument could be made that even in the right weather, and for short distances, the bed of a pickup truck is okay, too. Many hunters carry their hunting dogs this way, and they seem no worse for wear.
Strapping a crate to the top of a car, however, with nothing to block it from the wind, insects, debris etc. is just plain stupid, and dangerous.
It's that simple.

That would mean that letting your dog hang his head out the window is also stupid and dangerous and cruel.

Seems I struck a nerve, now you say school girl and the like, I would suggest it is you that relies on school girl evaluations of a candidate by who support that candidate. You made that crystal clear. I on the other hand look at the issues and would never vote for more Obama Failure. Now I could list all of Obama's Failures, buy that would be pointless as you judge a candidate by who supports him/her.
Yep, you have to resort to School girl and what was the other one, oh yeah "bend over and take it wholesale" now that is what I call a real debate. Demagog your appointment and try and demean them. That shows real class, of which you seem not to have much of.
By the way I comprehend English every well, but I would suggest there are many in this country that can't speak a word of English. I have to ask what do you think of those that can't speak English? You must feel they are subservient, and beneath you. So now we have "I'm a school girl" and one that "bends over and takes it wholesale" to one that "can't comprehend basic English". Seem you don't like anyone, especially those that can't comprehend basic English.

Folks, please discuss the topic and not each other ... and for the sake of my amusement, let's at least try to keep it civil.
So you know he went to Occidental? Have you seen the records?
Have you seen his financial aid applications?
Have you seen any of his grades?
Do you actually know ANYTHING about him?
Don't ask for proof about anything Obama, as he won't provide even the smallest bits of proof about himself. Ayers ghost-wrote this in his autobiography, so it shouldn't be questioned.
C'mon people, there is absolutely NO first hand information about Obama.

Well, that got out of hand. The president gets a pass for writing a book, when an adult, where he describes eating dog meat as his widely received and praised book was skimmed at best by all who claimed to read it (color me guilty of that) and it takes years for soemone to bring it up ...I it find interesting in this day and age when folks pounce on the smallest detail in political races. The generally partisan response to the issue is also dreadfully predictable.
It is a passage in the book that supports Obama's atypical and even un-american upbringing but we aren't allowed to mention that these days because we must accept all viewpoints unless they conflict with the popular left wing views of the moment . It's almost surprising it was ignored by the McCain campaign.
Maybe because it's about as close to a completely meaningless observation as you can get.
Did you know that Romney and Bain bought a company for 6 million, had the company borrow 10 million and pay it out as a dividend to Bain, then the company company couldn't meet the payments, and went bankrupt, all the workers got laid off, they defaulted on the loan, the bank that made the loan failed, and the taxpayers got stuck with the bill, but Romney and Bain made 4 million.
Oh, and Obama ate dog meat......

Goober, never been much of a fan of Mitler myself but heck let's compare Mitler and The Great O:
Romney signs into law sweeping healthcare reforms for the state of Massachusetts which do little to improve care and nothing to reduce costs.
Obama signs into law sweeping healthcare reforms for the nation which do nothing to improve health care and nothing to reduce costs.

I think it's been established that---back in the early 80's, neither Obama nor Romney were particularly good to dogs, in their own different ways.
Now that we have that out of the way...

Lets discuss the mud that is modern politics.
