This place is the capital of stupid one liners. And most come from conservatives, the bumper sticker people. I ask if Romney would actually go after employers, and you retort by asking if I am in fear of business. You ought to join the far left loony tunes people. I see no difference in the way their brains work, and yours.

So, given who Romney is, do you really think he would go hard after employers who work illegals? Because if he would, I would vote for him, for no other reason that that. And that is the honest truth. It's not like obama can do anything with this economy, due to it being a flawed economic model for job creation, unless you count busting tables or washing cars as jobs. I don't. And if you think tax breaks for the top dogs will create jobs, perhaps it will, when they hire an illegal mexican to do their yard work, or do house cleaning.
if this was true then why do you use the word employer as if is is a foul word?

Yeah you gotta love the 35-40 million that ISNT in the budget. So you have a budget for 35-40 million and an "unfunded" spending of 35-40 million above that. Sure the budget is balanced but the extra unfunded stuff still isn't.

Romney preferred raising fees and fines, leaving taxes alone and eventually working in a small tax cut(because he knew he was running for president and saying he cut taxes would be important) .
So License renewal went from $5 to $50, so did the fees for every professional license and registration.
I call 100% falsehood. When I renewed my license back in the 80's it was either $15 or $20, so please let me know what bill was passed while I lived out of State to reduce it to $5. The only thing at the Registry I ever saw for $5 was a State Issued ID.

He is considered anti-business by the wedding planning and catering community, since same sex marriage was declared legal when he was governor, (a man who campaigned as "The best friend gays would ever have in government"), Romney (with an eye towards the GOP presidential primary) dug up a 1913 law that banned marriages "that would not be legal in the state where the parties resided", this was a law passed to slow the flow of mixed race couples coming to Massachusetts to marry back in 1913, and Romeny used it to restrict Same Sex marriage to Massachusetts and Vermont residents, driving away an estimated 100 million dollars worth of same sex weddings.

So what you are saying is that if a couple from another State got married in Massachusetts, then it would not be recognized in another State. Specifically gay marriage? So Romney was enforcing other States laws? I am confused.
My guns wont be illegal, they will only be undocumented.
I am male, white, straight, Christian, Conservative how else can I offend you today.

He sure did alot of it, regardless of how much. The guy went to France to study "Mormonism" because he was too fucking scared to fight in Vietnam, period, not because he is a devout anything, other than a devout flip flopping, northeastern liberal of course. Once again are you a Christian? If so, what does it mean to be a Christian? Does it mean to be a fucking ass to people who disagree with you and act like a bigoted child? Or does it mean to be CHRIST-LIKE in your behavior?

    Would Jesus act like you?

I really don't understand this attitude.
Why would someone go to all the trouble of becoming President and then slowly try and destroy the nation? I think Romney would be be a rubbish President but I know he doesn't want the destruction of the US.

I don't believe that Obama wants to destroy the nation but, as they say, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Barack Obama and, to a lesser extent, Mitt Romney believe that a strong central government is the best tool to engineer economic and social structures in America so, to that end, they choose to support policies which increase the powers of that central government. Others of us, Conservatives, tend to believe that the strength of the nation comes from the interaction of myriad ideas presented and applied by the mass of individuals. It's a 300 million heads are better than one mentality as opposed to a one head as master of 300 million.

While I can agree that the government can always be a bit smaller and efficiencies made I do favour government control of things like health care. I do think there should be a much larger use of value for money assessments for all departments and pay for the upper tiers of government workers should be no more than an equivalent job in the private sector.

I have a feeling plenty of people did things to avoid going to Vietnam.
