No it couldn't have been that--it was this video that no one has ever seen.

What they don't want to talk about is the mass slaughter of Christians in Egypt. You aren't supposed to know about that.

No, they didn't arrest him for hurting the feelings of Muslims. The filmmaker in question is a convicted felon out on probation. As a condition of his probation, he was forbidden to use the Internet without the specific, express permission of his probation officer.

He violated his probation, so he got VOP'd. Frankly, he deserves it.

His attorney stated he didn't violate his probation. So I am going to assume that he was arrested for "misbehaving on the internet"--LOL

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances"

Could you not make the argument that by limiting his use of ( or forbidding use of ) the internet his right to free speech is infringed ?

And of course I agree with you on this. He violated probation, and he gets what he deserves for doing that. I believe in following the law, and to be blind in doing that. That is what the judge did.

And if he wins this time, he will do as he did with OBL and other terrorists. He will take care of business, but NOT on your timeline which represents wild abandon instead of thoughtful well planned retribution.

I also agree with Matt in Florida, along with you Blue. If they break the law, then prosecute them, that is the answer!

THEREFORE, all illegal aliens back across the border to Mexico, all drug selling gangbangers in Chicago behind bars, and of course all welfare recipients scamming the system prosecuted. Everything ALL of these people are doing is illegal, therefore FAIRNESS has to come into play. And if they want to throw fairness to the side, who are the people who want to do it?-)

Nope, because probation is a voluntary contract where the person on probation gives up certain rights in consideration of early release from incarceration. The Court can set pretty much any condition it pleases on probation, and the inmate has the choice to accept the conditions or remain in prison.
