So anyone stating that because of them being mesmerized by this kind of human being, his will being broadcast or not would have change nothing in this, is making no sense.

So anyone stating that uncovering his last will and making the content known lifted a veil of mystery about the motivation of this democratic boy is not making sense.

So anyone stating that decreasing the level of mystery about this mass killer will render him less appealing for soon to born democratic fans, is not making sense.

NBC did it for the Ratings.Remember how NBC lost 200,000 viewers cause of that reporter who critized the military? So they showed it on NBC News so they get some of the lost ratings back. Why dont the GOP Create a MEDIA TAX? Like if your ratings gain 20% you pay a 30% Media Tax from your advertisers.

Yeah. Fox's standards would have dictated that if the video, pictures and writings (on CDR likely.... Tapes?! How long have you been in a cave?) had been sent to them, thay would have discretely handed them over to the police. Fox would not have wanted to air them as an "exclusive" story.

To NOT show it, raises curiosity - and allows places like YouTube gain all the credit.
Now, people should be less inclined to turn him into a martyr seeing how disturbed he was with his babbling and other barely discernable crap.
In other words, letting him make an ass of himself does not bid well for people who may think he is some kind of saint or victim.

People like this korean are already immortal, even without airing their personal media parcel. The reason why this kind of people go mad is because a mental illness meets an ignorant society. Ignorant in the sense of ignoring a threat. By making people aware of how these people think and act as long as they're "normal" (not killing), people have the chance to recognize them beforethey get a bullet into their head. It makes people aware of that it CAN happen to them.
I don't think at all that airing the video creates a genre of mass-murderers. We had Steinhäusser here in Germany, and it's natural that people who think and feel like Robert Steinhäusser inform themselves on similiar "personalities". If they are mad enough to kill dozens of people, they will kill them anyway, no matter if they saw a video of Cho or not.
