Don't bother answering, I can figure out the answer to what goes on in your head more easily than you could.

Thing is Steve, he must know all of the above, he must also know that the vast majority of Americans consider themselves christians. Now I'm not suggesting they're all rapture crazed Jesus is coming NOW ! types, but the christian religion is an important part of how they view the world, a moral compass or guide so on and so forth. Brett must therefore be aware that posts of this sort will not only NOT engage the majority of Americans but will in fact actively alienate them.

And so I conclude that actually he has no intention of trying to convert people to his cause, to get them to accept or consider his point of view. if that were truly his intention he wouldn't act the way he does.

Which leaves us with the notion that the reason he posts insultingly is because he likes to insult, the reason he comes across maliciously is because he intends to be malicious. In short the hate and venom isn't the cloak for an underlying message, it is the message.
