the 'bitter twist to the holocaust' title is OK because it places it in the context of someone who must at one time have been a good friend now being blinded by dollar signs and disregarding the effects of his behaviour on someone he had once cared enough about to save.

there are lots of stories like this around. Financial abuse of elders is huge - with family or friends being the most likely perpetrators.
