Your assumption is correct. Switzerland recently got rid of their death penalty, but they never used it anyway...
I dont think its a Commonwealth thing, since Canada also got rid of the possibility for using death penalty not too many years ago. I dont think the UK are allowed to execute anyone in peacetime.

Obviously this is just all in humor and not serious btw, but i would be intriguedto figure out if the person drpped from a plane would actually land in a volcano! Currently barring about 3 states all we can do is really use the lethal injection method.
