Re: Texan 'hero' shoots and kills burglars at neighbours'
Yeah i thinj once a guy did free fall and his parachute didn't open, but it was snowing and he landed on some trees, fell down the branches and landed in like a load of snow that had fallen the previous night and survived, remarkable! (I hope it wasn't too bad at the time because jumping out of a plane in a snowstorm seems a stupid idea!).

Re: Texan 'hero' shoots and kills burglars at neighbours'
It depends on the crime...child molesters and rapists, cover the penis with honey and set the fire ants free! If the pervert happens to die in the process, oh well. As for murderers, I could go with the volcano thing...but I also like the Mafia's idea of concrete boots...fish and crabs have to eat, too, ya know!

Send them all down my way, in that case. The Chesapeake Bay's crab numbers have been dropping. Maybe a little murderer once in a while might spice up their diet.

Re: Texan 'hero' shoots and kills burglars at neighbours'
Wouldn't reflect too well on American people if they started tossing people into volcanoes. It's kind of juvenile. Also, it's easy to say I'd do this to murderers, and that to rapists and so on, but what happens when the guilty party is a member of your family? My guess is, you wouldn't want them exterminated quite so creatively. You'd appreciate a minimum of decorum and, shall we say, decency in the proceedings, I imagine.

Re: Texan 'hero' shoots and kills burglars at neighbours'
What do you mean reflect badly on Americans? It was Wallaroo's idea! We'd never be able to do it, we'd have to fly convicts to WA state everytime we wanted to execute anyone!
But it is all a joke, i mean we'll be lucky if any state or federal execution ever takes place outside of the lethal injection method again. |

Your idea of sleeping with the fishes is interesting, but what happens if a fisherman catches him in his net? Is that the fisherman's catch to keep?

Never look too closely at your crab cakes.

Re: Texan 'hero' shoots and kills burglars at neighbours'
Yeah it is ridiculous but the theory is that if we did mess it up and it gave them hepititis rather than killed them the state would be liable for millions...this is why, if you execute someone, for the love of God get it right!

Re: Texan 'hero' shoots and kills burglars at neighbours'
Which is why lethal injection is kinda bogus. Lots of room for error. Same with the chair.
And why does this cost us so much, anyway? .44 slug in the brainpan seems cost-effective to me. (And you probably thought I was a lib straight across ther board...)

Re: Texan 'hero' shoots and kills burglars at neighbours'
LOL More than one body has disappeared around here like that! The other day, I actually told a guy that wouldn't quit pestering me that I had a gun and a pirogue and knew how to handle both of them quite well.

Re: Texan 'hero' shoots and kills burglars at neighbours'
I have always wondered why it costs so much to execute them, especially using the needle. I could understand if it was something like one of the more luxorious methods thought up by our resident Europeans!
Apparently its because you need 3 needles and machines to monitor heartrates and all that stuff, no need for any of that imo, rope is pleanty sufficient. |
