Didn't you just argue that committing any one crime makes the commission of another one more likely? As for my specific example, someone willing to break into your home probably wouldn't sweat punching you in the face.

I'm not even talking about someone's driving habits. I'm talking about someone; a child, who's admitted to abusing alcohol at a young age. He's already headed down the wrong path and, yes, I believe he's more likely to commit a serious crime as opposed to someone who double parks...
"The wrong path"? Well, luckily he'll be 21 pretty soon, and then squarely back on the right path, no?

Better yet, in three weeks I'll (probably) be in Ecuador, where I'll be legal to drink. I assume that then I can drink as much as I want, but still be on the right path, right?

It would have made more sense to argue this point than trying to tie higher crime rates into a predisposition toward one specific crime.

However, according to the conservative publication "World Net Daily" rape is indeed a problem amongst this population group with a 100% crime rate:

Quote:
1) A wave of illegal-immigrant gang rapes is sweeping the U.S. while public officials and law-enforcement authorities fear drawing the link, experts say.

Deborah Schurman-Kauflin, a Ph.D. researcher of violent crimes, told WorldNetDaily, "It appears as if there is a fear that if this is honestly discussed, people will hate all illegal immigrants. So there is silence. … But in being silent about the rapes and murders, it is as if the victims never even existed."

Schurman-Kauflin, who runs the Violent Crimes Institute in Atlanta, participated in a 12-month, in-depth study of illegal immigrants who committed sex crimes and murders from January 1999 through April 2006. The study found approximately 240,000 illegal-immigrant sex offenders reside in the United States – while 93 sex offenders and 12 serial sexual offenders come across U.S. borders illegally every day.

Quote:
2) Based on a one-year in-depth study, a researcher estimates there are about 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the United States who have had an average of four victims each.

Deborah Schurman-Kauflin of the Violent Crimes Institute in Atlanta analyzed 1,500 cases from January 1999 through April 2006 that included serial rapes, serial murders, sexual homicides and child molestation committed by illegal immigrants.

She found that while the offenders were located in 36 states, most were in states with the highest numbers of illegal immigrants. California had the most offenders, followed by Texas, Arizona, New Jersey, New York and Florida.

Study: 1 million sex crimes by illegals
This does seem to illustrate sexual deviancy in regard to rape amongst the law-breaking illegal alien population as I suspected would be the case considering the nature of the illegal population.

What "nature" is that?

If there's some need you have to simplify it, sure.

Yeah, I think about children being raped. I think about children being raped by scumbag illegal aliens, and I think about how I hope they die a slow, gruesome death as a result...

I thought simplification was the point of this thread.

I grew up with a drinking age of 18. I drank when I was 18. Whether such laws are arbitrary isnt a part of this discussion, so I'll let the whining about that pass without comment...
That is a specious definition of alcohol abuse.

How is it abuse if I do it here, but not abuse if I do in Canada, or Mexico?

Hey, just ask any cop or doctor and they'll tell you the same thing.

Because it is.

If you feel an unwavering need to drink at your tender age, might I suggest that you go elsewhere to do it.

Here, it's against the law...

While I am skeptical about the credulity of this statement, I will give you the benefit of the doubt concede that you are, indeed, holier than I, and I hope that you enjoy it.

Next time I abuse alcohol, I will raise a glass to you.
