The laws are complicated but generally stores are mandated to provide certain security etc, and that means various security officials etc. Now i'm not sure what their direct responsibilities and restrictions are but i guess they would be the first to deal with it. Unless you would be the authority within the shop you can't administer anything as you're on their property, unless they have no objection to what you're doing.
Like with Horn, the practicaity of the matter would suggest that if he did go onto his neighbor's lawn to kill those two his neighbor would probably have no problem with it as he would be doing it to defend his neighbor and thus in a more everyday sense if there were a string of neighborhood robberies and you had to chase accross 10 properties to hunt someone down they probably wouldn't mind as they would sleep safer at night with one less burglar prowling the neighborhood. However if they did object after the fact that could be problematic for you.
