Yes, adults doing something like that to a kid deserves a severe beating. Too bad corporal punishment for adults these days. We sure as hell need it.

Bunch of typical conservatives. Vulnerable people, even children, aren't entitled to protection from the stronger. Bullshit, that's why we have civilization in the first place, cuz there's always somebody/thing stronger than you. This woman is a murderer and should fry.

Your hypocrisy is incredible. How dare you rant about "protecting the vulnerable" when you and your liberal allies embrace abortion with outstretched, bloody arms.

Wait a second. So if person A calls person B an asshole, person A deserves to be beaten?

Everyone is entitled to protection from everyone else, by default. Just not from bad words. That's called free speech. And yes, someone's voicing their opinion can hurt your feelings. That doesn't mean you are allowed to go and smash the guys face with a pipe. This is what is called "tolerance." Try it sometime.

No, the kid hanged herself. It was 100% the kid's decision to hang herself. That's called a suicide. If you put the person away for "murder" when all she did was voice her opinion and say a few non-contractual lies in a social networking environment, you are essentially stomping on free speech rights by letting people take physical action against others for things they said that one simply didn't like.

This is a gross understatement of what this grown adult did to the child.

Is it really? The only thing special about this case is the suicide, and that was done by the girl. You think people don't flame on the Internet?

And who cares if it's a kid? Are you saying you'd be alright if the woman pissed off a grown man and he committed suicide?

If the woman was just flaming a stranger you might have a point. This woman knew the girl, knew her vulnerability and drove her to suicide intentionally. And she told the girl the world would be better off without her, which is tantamount to telling her to kill herself. This much has been established. This fat, pig bitch is a goddammed murderess and should fry on Earth before she burns in Hell.

How could the woman possibly have known that the girl would commit suicide.

No, it's not. The world would be better without assholes. Does this mean if I call someone an asshole, I'm telling them to kill themselves?

She didn't kill anyone. For the 100th time, THE GIRL COMMITTED SUICIDE! You do understand what that word means, right?

It matter not what the woman knew about this girl. She didnt make a choice to kill herself, did she?

The kid hung herself because she was too wuss to simply shut the computer down and go to bed, and get the hell over it.

Kids get bullied every goddamned day, and guess what? You don't see them crawling into closets with ropes around their necks.

The woman was told by several people that the girl was suicidal. She intentionally conspired over a period of time and several messages to drive her to suicide.

Intentionally manipulating someone who is not of sound mind is the same as if you gave them poison. Your argument is like saying "I didn't kill them, the poison did"

Let's say this was a wife with a husband in Iraq. She is known to be depressed and suicidal. You call her up an tell her you're from the US Army and are sorry to inform her of her husband's death. This is just a harmless prank and anything she does is her own fault??

Why draw the line here? If a disturbed adolescent is expected to fight off mental abuse by a vicious adult then why is anyone entitled to protection from physical abuse? We can all take care of ourselves, right? and if you're not strong enough to fight off somebody, well, whose fault is that?

Where are you getting this information?

Well, if they knowingly consume the poison (that is, if they know it will kill them), then the person committing suicide will be responsible. You're assuming the kid was a robot where if you pushed the "suicide button" it would kill itself. That's simply not true. The kid didn't like what she saw and killed herself.

Yes, it is.

She was protected from mental abuse. All she had to do was stop reading the stuff that hurt her feelings.

The cops will stop (legally) a murderer from coming into your house and blowing your brains out. They won't stop you from doing so to yourself.

You are using an irrational argument. Nobody forced the girl to read the stuff that hurt her feelings. If I tied myself down and watched reruns of "friends" for a couple of months, it would probably lead me to suicide, too. That doesn't mean the makers of "friends" are at fault.

Yep, and that bullying often occurs in school, where the kids are FORCED to be by law. This girl was at home and went out of her way to read and worry about material that was upsetting.

I see a lot of people on this forum believe that parents are no longer responsible for the proper raising of their children. Shameful.

And a lot more seem to think that vicious predators should be allowed to do anything they want to people with utter impunity. Wait until it's your kid that's victimised.
