Missing child in Florida found dead.

Quote:
ORANGE PARK - Clay County Sheriff Rick Beseler this morning said the medical examiner's office in Savannah, Georgia will determine Somer Renee Thompson's cause of death later today.

Beseler said her partially covered body was found in a Georgia landfill near the Florida state line. Investigators followed garbage trucks leaving from the neighborhood where she had disappeared Monday, he said.

Her father, Sam Thompson, identified the body of his 7-year-old daughter by a circular birthmark on her shin, reports show.

"There is a child killer on the loose and that's why we are going to catch this person," Beseler said during a televised news conference in Clay County this morning. "This is a heinous crime."

Beseler said investigators searched through 100 tons of garbage before finding her body. "It was a massive undertaking," Beseler said.

He would not release details of the investigation.

Goddamn it. Good hunting to the Clay County SO, and please don't feel you have to make too much effort to bring this piece of shit in alive. Something in a hail of gunfire would suit just fine.....

What if it is one of her siblings and mom is covering it up, do people deserve to die in a hail of gunfire then?

Most children are victims of family members or other people they and the family trust.

Anyone who would cover up such a crime is worthy of dying in a hail of gunfire...

Why don't you go down there and show them how to execute proper justice?
Bring a rope, it's reusable and lynchings never hurt innocent bystanders.

well jd one would assume that the police would pursue the suspect using proper detective work so they end up shooting the right person.
i don't care who it is. they deserve to die.

Get em to the courthouse have a proper trial and hang them with a good old choking knot within a year and a day if found guilty. Police do make mistakes and it's best to remove the capacity of one tired and well meaning public servant from making a mistake they can't take back.

oooo idk about that. i'd say if theyve got the murder weapon linked through dna to the killer (you often cut yourself on you own knife apparently) or tape of someone dumping the body etc then i'm perfectly happy with them being "shot while resisting arrest/trying to escape".

In reality, I completely agree with you here - I'm just pissed off.

Re: Missing child in Florida found dead.

Whomever is found guilty of this crime doesn't deserve a single ounce of mercy.
