Sooo... I'm not a fan of Metallica's music.

I'm a fan of how they conduct business. I'm a fan of how they fought to try to protect what was theirs.

My point was that there are a lot of people out there who don't think they suck. I don't care for their music, but I don't think they suck. I don't think they don't suck. I don't really have an opinion on their music.

this kind of hits home with me cause i was recently at the metallica show in atlanta.

while i have always liked their music, its funny how some of the music you like is created by people you have trouble respecting.

for example, at the show, between a song, hetfield was like "thank you for being here, you know folks can buy shirts and CD's, but to come to a show is the ultimate sign of respect, to share the experience, etc."

i am thinking, what the hell? you are one of the most established metal bands ever, and you are concerned with 'respect'? why not just assume your fans respect your music? but anyway...

i think they are offering this reward because they know the type of situations that rock concerts produce, lots of drugs, etc, its easy that her dissapearence is somewhat drug related, or at least related to the chaos that shows produce. its slight genuine concern, slight guilt, slight PR.
