Well, when you pay doctors to say whatever you want, and play Scottish judges for fools, and offer an oil carrot, justice has to take one for the team.

This is freaking disgusting. I hold out hope that the most of our brothers and sisters from across the pond are equally as digusted.

One of the few times I agree with the posts here. It's sick to me that they just don't execute these assholes when they're first convicted

Oh, but doctors are gods and they deserve to get the money and be rich! And they shouldn't even have to be accountable for their own messes!

The Lockerbie bomber celebrated his 58th birthday on Thursday at a Libyan mansion, defying the imminent death Scottish officials predicted when they compassionately freed him from prison nearly eight months ago.

The thought of Abdelbaset Al-Megrahi partying with family and friends – reportedly thanking God for his survival – left his victims’ loved ones sick to their stomachs.

“It’s absolutely despicable. It’s horrific because my daughter had only 20 birthdays,” said Susan Cohen of Cape May, N.J.

Cohen’s daughter, Theodora, a student at Syracuse University, was among 270 killed Dec. 21, 1988, when Pan Am Flight 103 was bombed in midair over Lockerbie, Scotland.

Doctors are accountable to their employer, be that me, Obama, or Wacky Gaddafi.

The latest reports here is that the Libyan doctors have given up any hope of prolonging his life and all treatment has stopped. His cancer has matastasized and he has days to live.

He's been receiving the best treatment that the Libyan state can provide and this has probably extended his life by a few months...but given that he is bed ridden, in intense, excrutiating chronic pain, and has no quality of life whatsoever, death will probably be a relief to him.

Unfortunately, he gets to die with honor and the red carpet treatment fit for a hero.

Every single person in the UK who was involved in his release should be sacked, IMHO. This is such a huge miscarriage of justice for the families of the people this asshole murdered.

Yeah...an injustice...but I'm sure that there will be many who believe that the prolongation of his pain for political reasons is a little bit of justice in itself...but only a little
