You may get your wish. Do you have any idea how much disaster this (see below link) could cause ?

    --------------------------------

Satellite images acquired by ESA's ERS-2 revealed the recently discovered changes in Yellowstone's caldera are the result of molten rock movement 15 kilometres below the Earth's surface, according to a recent study published in Nature.

Using Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry, InSAR for short, Charles Wicks, Wayne Thatcher and other U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) scientists mapped the changes in the northern rim of the caldera, or crater, and discovered it had risen about 13 centimetres from 1997 to 2003.

InSAR, a sophisticated version of 'spot the difference', involves mathematically combining different radar images, acquired from as near as possible to the same point in space at different times, to create digital elevation models and reveal otherwise undetectable changes occurring between image acquisitions.

"We know now how mobile and restless the Yellowstone caldera actually is. Ground-based measurements can be more efficiently deployed because of our work," Thatcher said. "The research could not have been done without satellite radar data."

Those are going to be a loooooooong 6 days. At first you think the first week in jail is the worst because you sort of fall into a routine and just go with the flow for the rest of the sentence after that. But then as your date of release comes closer and closer you can't help thinking of freedom! That's all you can think about. The last week in jail is a lot harder than the first week IMO.

Think of how a soldier feels 10 days before he's scheduled to go home.

Casey Anthony Jury did the right thing

Don't get me wrong I BELIEVE Casey Anthony is guilty but I don't KNOW that she is and there is a huge difference between knowing and believing. There was simply not enough evidence. The Casey Anthony jury came to that same conclusion and did the right thing. They found her not guilty because the prosecution did not prove its case despite their personal feelings that she was "probably" guilty. That's the way the justice system is supose to work and God bless that jury for having the courage to uphold the integrity of our justice system.

Given that the evidence was entirely circumstantial, I agree.

I was just thinking that since Casey Anthony was unemployed she might have been getting public assistance payments for Caylee such as WIC, food stamps etc. for months after Caylee was deceased. If that's the case then it could constitute welfare fraud. It's something the prosecutors should investigate.

Yeah those investogations have been on-going along with violations of the SSA and fraudulent claims to benefits of her girlfriend etc. There could be civil/punative attempts to recollect monies paid that were given in error by the state but further criminal charges seem unlikely at this point as it would require federal intervention on some of those issues.

So do I, and my cable provider gives us a whole goddam CHANNEL of them....the worst part being that it's INSTEAD of the one that carries "How It's Made" and other interesting stuff. What in fuck is WRONG with people that are obsessed with Trailer Parks, sluts and bikers anyway?...the stories are all the same....Fat, amoral and oversexed female machine operator starts cheating on Worthless, biker husband with, unbelievably, even MORE worthless biker and both decide that murder is more fun than divorce. Recorded interviews, many pictures of skeletons and other hilarity ensues. Jesus on an Indian, who WATCHES this shit? I remember being in the hospital about 5 years ago and the guy next to me was a real fan... I think it aided my recovery immensely as I got up and about much more since I couldn't take that crap even when I had my own tv on.

There was plenty of circumstantial evidence to convict this bitch. I have seen guilty men convicted with less.

The jury wasn't intelligent enough to convict, that is the reason she walked after covering up the death of her child. Yet the DA should have went with lessor but prison sentence charges, instead of trying to convict with only circumstantial evidence, of murder. I think the death was an accident, as she was struggling to live the life she thought she deserved, instead of being restricted by having to care for her child. I don't think any of the jury actually thought she was a cold blooded murderer, and trying to prove that was real stupid on the States part.

Casey was nothing more than just another thing you see this nation filled with. A grown up, spoiled brat who thought her existence and personal happiness was the reason the universe was created. As we become more and more self centered and selfish, which is due to this nation's rejection of religion, that if for nothing else, imparted morality from childhood onward, we become more and more barbaric, and are losing our humanity that religion imparts to any culture.

But who has any need for religion that teaches YOU are not the center of the universe, and wants you to be decent instead of self absorbed? This society teaches each of us should be self absorbed, and as we moved to this mindset, the nation has gone to hell, the people have gone to hell, and personal responsiblity is an alien concept.

    Me too.

But I can't seem to get enough of those docu-dramas about women's prisons.

It's inexplicable really, because I maybe watch 4 hours of television a week.

Half of that is on Wednesday nights when I watch Modern Family and a couple other sitcoms with my wife because if I don't she bitches that I never spend any time with her (which is bullshit, but it is true that I don't spend 4 hours a night watching TV with her).

The other half is almost exclusively women's prison docu-dramas.

I have absolutely no interest in law enforcement, the criminal justice system, crack-addicted teenage mothers, street crime, poor people, or women other than my wife, but I'm a sucker for girls behind bars it seems.

Of maybe, just maybe SHE DIDN'T FUCKING DO IT. Her story, that she covered it up because she thought that EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED WOULD HAPPEN, seems pretty rational to me

As for religion, I've never dealt with an abused child where religion didn't play a role. It can be like you say but it can just as easily be used to justify doing all kinds of bad shit to kids, and everybody for that matter, either "for their own good" or because you can do anything you want to the "godless" (ie, anyone you don't like). We atheists love our children because they're part of us...I guess that's your 'self-absorption' right there, but I can't help but think it's a better reason than because my imaginary friend in the sky told me I should.

    Really?

Lying to the police, then sitting with the police staking out the supposed workplace of the make-believe "kidnapper" was rational?
