Ok, so you dont exactly work from home. But, you could granted what's going on with a Missouri McDonalds that outsources drive through order taking to a Colorado Call Center that employs about 50 order takers.
The technology is simple by todays standards: broad-band connection transmitting drive-through images in real-time and sending orders to waiting staff who can focus on order accuracy. The results are easily realized: order accuracy, faster drive throughs and happier order takers (they dont have to smell like burgers and grease anymore).
While this is not something new, I never knew it existed until learning about it recently. I thought it was interesting. I can think of many jobs, now, that could use such call centers. Perhaps this is a new business opportunity?
