Talking Does anyone still believe that Americans had been on the Moon?

In an embarrassing acknowledgment, the space agency said Thursday that it must have erased the Apollo 11 moon footage years ago so that it could reuse the videotape. But now Hollywood is coming to the rescue. The studio wizards who restored "Casablanca" are digitally sharpening and cleaning up the ghostly, grainy footage of the moon landing, making it even better than what TV viewers saw on July 20, 1969.

Do you really believe that NASA somehow erased original video of the moonlanding just to reuse the videotape. Lol, that is the sh*ttiest excuse i've ever heard.

Lol, American staged "moon landing" is the biggest falsification in the history after Jesus declared himself as God and Muhammad declared himself as Prophet.

Yes, we did land on the moon. Only those with very limited reasoning skills fall for the limp conspiracy theories to the contrary.

To moon landing skeptics: Do you know there are corner reflectors on the moon ? If man had never been on the moon they wouldn't be there now.

The moon tapes getting erased is an excellent example of why one doesn't want the government being in charge of retaining records, they can't be relied on if they can't get in trouble for screwing up.

Exactly...they are used to measure any seismic activity, shifting etc.

Perhaps it was the Russians with a giant spear harpoon that placed them there?

I believe we did land on the moon, but these reflectors don't prove it because they could have been place mechanically fairly easily.
Their whole point is that they don't need special positioning.
And I doubt there is any seismic activity on the moon because it has a cold solid core. But these reflectors allow perfect distance measurements from the earth.

Re: Does anyone still believe that Americans had been on the Moon?

There are videos that show evidence of being doctored and faked, but that does not mean we did not land on the moon.
It only proves they tried to give us a better show then they had shots of.

Re: Does anyone still believe that Americans had been on the Moon?

I found it.

Quote:
Buzz Aldrin Punches Moon-landing Conspiracy Theorist
Bart Sibrel, a conspiracy theorist who believes that NASA faked the moon landing, confronted retired astronaut Buzz Aldrin on September 9, 2002.

"You're a coward," he exclaimed, "and a liar, ..."

At that point, Aldrin (age 72) landed a spirited punch to Sibrel's jaw.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office has declined to file charges.

With NASA being a government agency, and with government being as fragmented as it is, yes, I most assuredly CAN believe this is possible.

Yeah - i can see it happening. After all, NASA is made up of people, and people screw up from time to time.

With this in mind though, considering this was quite probably the single most important piece of video tape in all of human history, and considering that NASA is made up of the absolute best and brightest in government, can someone now explain to me why letting government manage our health care information is such a great idea?

Re: Does anyone still believe that Americans had been on the Moon?

Geez only a complete retarded idiot would disbleive that humans have walked on the moon.

There is independent evidence now from the LRO satellite that has directly imaged the landing sites.

Not to mention the thousands upon thousands of directly or indirectly involved personnel who where involved in the space program over the years of the apollo mission. They all agree and swear that 12 men from Earth walked on the moon.

AS for reusing the tapes. At the time the general idea was that this was just gonig to be one step in a program that was going to be ongoing and that we would never really leave the moon like we did. That this was a big deal in a job and agency that everyday was abig deal. Some new record being broken or new place gone everyday. This was just data that needed to be erased so the tapes could be resued to save money. Maybe if less money had been wasted in vietnam maybe NASA could have afforded to buy more tapes and not have to reuse the old ones.

Don't you think if the Soviets didn't pick up radio signals from the lunar surface, they would have called shenaniganski.
