NFL - 07' Predictions, etc.

New Football season...and I am willing to bet, same predictions as last year.

Alright - who is going all the way this season? Who is going to the big game and then losing? (Be nice, wphelan and Drgoodtrips are probably still hurting)

Get your shit-talking ready, September 6th is just around the corner. I know who I'd like to go all the way, but after last season and the off season, who knows?

I'm waiting to see how Carr is going to turn out, how Smith is going to do this year (Gawd willing, he stays healthy) and how mad Delhomme is going to make most everyone in this state.

Also, keeping an eye on the Bucs and the Pats, I want to see what Garcia does.

What like the same way the Panthers did a few years ago when you lost to the pats in the Supwerbowl?

Don't rule out the Saints this year!

1 - I have had much more time to heal than drgoodtrips and wphelan. But for the sake of argument, didn't Seattle get there and lose year before last?

Mrs. M - I'm certainly not ruling the Saints out this year, rest assured that I will be pulling against them when they play the Panthers.

Re: NFL - 07' Predictions, etc.

AH she beat me too it..........it is that time

think it will be between the PATS and the COLTS in the AFC championship game

and the SB will not be worth squat again for the AFC is too strong

PATS win AGAIN which i hate

My beloved packers will be 9-7 or 10-6 make the playoffs get past the wild card , get pummeled, and brett favre will retire and then we will really suck ( if that is possible) for another 4-6 years..........

Re: NFL - 07' Predictions, etc.

Nah i see the Pats doing well but not winning again.

They've made some good off season trades and stuff but i think finally an NFC team is gonna win. Its gonna be either us or the Bears, i'm hoping us. Don't rule outthe Saints but i think they may just run out of steam but if they can win convincingly in their division then maybe they can rest a few key players towards the end of the regular season.

I say it'll be us to win the NFC championship game and win the Vince Lombadi trophy against the pats.

Re: NFL - 07' Predictions, etc.

I have a question for Panthers/Saints fans. In your division who do you think (out of your two teams) is gonna benefit more from Vick being absent from the Falcons? I certainly don't see both teams making it to the playoffs so which one will prosper more in divisional matches.

Re: NFL - 07' Predictions, etc.

Some talking head, a week or two ago, was saying how the Chargers stand a good chance to take it all this year.

Big surprise.

They've been in that position a few times in recent years, and they always manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory...

Does sound kinda funky.

I wish I could say the same about a team I loved for years. I loved the Cardinals, but when they moved from St. Louis, I lost my passion for them.

At least the Packers have stayed where they are and have a loyal fan base.

(Not to rain on the NFL thread, this is one of the reasons that I am sooooo much more the college ball fan. )
