Re: How'd Your Team Do?

Alright Steve you weenie! Jets backed up their yappin' yesterday against my Pats. They used the Giant's blueprint of constant blitz packages of 6 and 7 palyers, which normally would leave the secondary exposed, but their cornerback Revis did a great job of covering Randy Moss, and the usual short-pass relief in a blitz situation, Wes Welker, was not playing. Rookie Edelman tried to take Welker's place for the day but being a rookie that was converted from QB to WR, he just couldn't do it. Also, the Pat's defense did OK in the first half but slacked off enough in the second half to allow the Jets' rookie QB, Sanchez, enough time to get a passing game going. Last, the Jets defense did a great job stopping the Pats in the red zone. Pat's running game was mediocre again. Hats off to the J-E-T-S. Oh yeah I hate that stupid air-raid siren!

Re: How'd Your Team Do?

Bears over the Steelers!! Woohoo!

Our D is going to miss Urlacher, but they've shown they're plenty capable without him. We still lack top notch receivers, but I think Cutler can manage with the TE's, limited dependency on WRs, and he needs to learn how to dump to the RB in the flat at least once in a while.

But the Bears look like a playoff team to me. NFC North is pretty good this year.

Indeed, and it is refreshing IMO. That being said, I believe th Bears and Pack will have their work cut out for them trying to keep the Vikes out of the top spot.

I'm happy...the Saints won and the Cowboys lost...it was a good day! Well, it would have been better if the Steelers had won but....

I hope you get down on your knees every day and thank the Lord San Diego decided to keep Rivers.

I Curse Paul Allen for not signing Brees to the Seadogs. That guy is da bomb.

I love Brees!!!! He's a class act on and off the field so y'all's loss is definitely our gain.

Re: How'd Your Team Do?

Well, we lost but not as badly as last week. At this rate we might actually win one....at some point.

Re: How'd Your Team Do?

The Redskins sort of won. Kind of.

The Cowboys lost, though, so I'm happy.
