I'd say the Falcons win that division and none of the other playoff teams come out of there. I think in my predictions I had Carolina finishing in front of only the Buckos.

Yeah, I think the Falcons are gonna take it. The Saints are a bit of a fluke in my book. The team has no real depth backing them up, IMO.

I think you can blame danny boy. He's the Dolan (owner of the knicks) of pro football. He needs to find a competent GM and step back from the team, suck it up for some rebuilding, and stop trying to find the quick fix. But as a Giants fan hope he does none of thsoe things anytime soon.

Well, if they had converted one more first down, it would have been. They were that close. And they did that all with a backup running back, and little talent elsewhere on offense. They controlled Petersen for much of that game.

I agree that the Vikings are a better team on paper, but the coaching staff of the Niners get every ounce of talent out of what they have. They're not good, but they don't make many mistakes (until they runt he ball up the middle 3 times when they need one first down and then go into prevent D). In football, that means you usually do pretty well. And they seem to get better each week.

If you had seen how the team had played under Nolan week after week, you would understand.

Re: How'd Your Team Do?

I am not saying that the 49ers haven't come a long way from last season. Indeed, I wasn't surprised by their 2-0 start prior to their meeting with the Vikes. I predict good things for them. Still, the Vikes are a better team on paper and on the field.

I'm happy to report that the panthers didnt lose a game on Sunday. Of course, we had a bye but the point is the we didnt lose and thats all that matters.

Re: How'd Your Team Do?

I'm a Charger fan first and a Titans fan second.

So you can guess how I'm feeling this morning.

Also, my fantasy team got beat too.

So I'm doing good.

Re: How'd Your Team Do?

Pats doing alright, though our record is a lot better than it probably should be. The first game against Buffalo was just ridiculous, and it seems we won yesterday because Baltimore didn't feel like catching the ball in the last minute. Still, Brady's lookin good and the offense has plenty of weapons. The defense has been gutted, though, hopefully Mayo will come back strong.

Re: How'd Your Team Do?

Giants are still undeafeted but the last two opponents have been very weak and after one more patsy (Raiders) next week, they start to play some serious competition. New Orleans, Arizona, Philadelphia, San Diego. Giants could easily be 5-0 after next week and then 6-3 when they get to the bye.

Re: How'd Your Team Do?

I don't really have a team, but Roethlisberger continues to defy logic and overperform. He's ranked #5 of all qb's in my league for fantasy points. Not bad for a 7th round draft.
