Absolutely not, provided it's in the form of a pension offered in return for previous service...

What problems has our beloved governor actually solved?

Re: California Politics - Education.

Quote:
New Law Would Take California Schools
Backward Not Forward

WASHINGTON, DC – California schools should be concentrating on academics, not indoctrination. A new law passed via Senate Bill 777, subjects children as young as kindergarten to teachings that all types of sexual orientation are to be praised. It requires textbooks and other school materials to positively portray same-sex marriage and “gay history.”

“California test scores are still way below acceptable,” said Representative John T. Doolittle. “We should be having our kids concentrating on the basics…reading, writing and arithmetic…not sexual indoctrination that parents don’t want and children don’t need.
What about making sure the students read the constitution and vote for what they believe they will need in their generation?

I have already heard too much refeerless (in most cases) propaganda and the 50's generation's problems with the "Devil Music" of rock-and-roll.

He has taken a leadership role in regards to climate change that nobody at the federal level has.

Like what? How many municipal buses run on hydrogen and the infrastructure that supports it?

That's more of a technological issue rather than a political one.

Re: California Politics

Why do you think is not a political issue? From my perspective, that type of public policy could be as simple as bureaucracy can make it.

Hydrogen vehicles are not exactly available for that sort of thing.

Re: California Politics

There would be with enough incentive. I consider that form of public policy analogous to the lack of effort by Davis in securing an energy conduit to the Mexican power grid. If we didn't want anything done, but talk, why was Davis voted out of office? He had plenty of seniority and practice.

If you have to ask, it's probably because you voted for the clown.

Assuming, of course, that you're old enough to vote...

Re: California Politics

How are those fires going on over their? Maybe they can get the California guard to lend some spare cargo planes for fire militia duty.
