Anyways, in my travels there the pitfalls were myriad. Lotsa of occasions thinking a voice was female, but it was just a young dude. That usually wasn't bad - I mean they were, like, the 14-yr old "authorized user" of the account and had to know their voice hadn't changed yet. Oh, but the occasional chick that sounded like Barry White talking through a bag of gravel? That was always awkward. My favorite was something like an account coming up as "Chris" and "Denise" in SF, CA. Denise was on the line trying to do something that she couldn't without the other person's input. I asked if I could speak to her husband. "Who?" "Chris...your...hus...er..." Chris[tine] came on the line and...whatever. At least they sounded pretty hot. All sorts of neat stories... |

I am an American. That's the way most of us put it, just matter of factly. They are plain words, those four: you could write them on your thumbnail, or sweep them clear across this bright autumn sky. But remember too, that they are more than just words. They are a way of life. So whenever you speak them; speak them firmly, speak them proudly, speak them gratefully. I am an American. ...a tradition |

That did occur to me. Thank God for the power of imagination! If Sesame Street had known what I'd be using it for...doubt they'd have been singing its virtues so much.

What ? Are you saying these things (Gender, Race and Place of Residence) are just imaginary "social constructs" created by humans for no sensible reasons ? There's really no difference between a black person and an asian person ? They sure look different. There's really no difference between a male and a female ? They sure look different. Where I live is no different than another location on Earth ? So I'm everywhere ? A citizen of every country be default ? |

What Sanfransicko does no longer surprises me.The only thing that would be surprising is if Sanfransicko started to get sane.

Re: San Fran and "Genderless" ID Cards
It is clearly a crime to be a transgender. I think stupid people need to stop trying to stand up for freaks that ruin society. If they want to go live outside of society so be it but in our society we have rules that everyone has to abide by. If you don't obide by civilized rules you don't belong in the face of society. Little kids don't need to see freaky people in public like this. People have enough pressures in society than to have to deal with more nuts. I'm not pro gay but some gays don't even think too much of this. When you see bums out on the streets drinking on corners they belong behind bars just as much as the transgenders walking(promoting themselves) around in public provide more scars to society. Having id's that are genderless is aiding criminals.
