south carolina dem. primary

so, are the polls accurate ths time? Some see obama with a 16% advantage,,,the fight is clearly over the "black" vote...I am not so sure obama will win by much, if he wins at all....I have a feeling the voting demographic will be very telling.....hillary needs the monolithic black vote in a general election...bad....IF sh only garners , lets say 50%, will the rest who didn’t vote for her sit out in the general election?...hummmm.. probably not, BUT imho, IF there is a crack and Obama gets 70% say of the black vote here this won’t bode well down the line regards that faction of voters...in following primaries...in the end hill. will need every other segment by large numbers...and it may not happen.

Re: south carolina dem. primary

To be honest I find the whole "who can court the Blaq vote" discussion stupid. Aside from voting as a block for Democratic candidates, I don't see why Blaqs would vote overwhelmingly for one candidate or the other. In fact I would imagine that whoever "courts" Blaqs the most would wind up with the least amount of Blaq votes.

Well according to MSNBC, CNN and Fox, Obama is the projected winner.

The fact that nearly no precincts have reported in officially and they are basing this largely on exit poll numbers and nothing official.

Regardless, Congrats to Obama. He managed to do what was expected and probably necessary to maintain his push to super-Tuesday.

CNN projected Obama as the winner the second the polls closed. It looks to be a big win. Looks like Clinton will come in second but it is actually closer between Clinton and Edwards than Obama and Clinton.

Re: south carolina dem. primary

Hill-Billary's good-cop, bad-cop act is apparently turning a lot of voters off.

And how about some love for poor John Edwards? Got stomped like a narc at a biker rally in his own home state. That's gotta hurt.......

That's my take on it.
A few (of the few) that I know who were leaning towards Billary, are now going for Obama simply because of the bull crap stunts coming from the clitonians.

I simply love it.
