Re: Governor divorces Wife
There's a 7-year age difference and they spent ten-years with her living in NV and him in DC while he was serving in congress. One of the slander issues was him following a woman he had been drinking with out of a drinking establishment and assaulting her in the parking lot. That was after his return to NV to seek the NV governorship. He served in DC and now seems to believe he's god-like. Elected and appointed federal service in DC does have a record of changing people. Or bringing out who they actually are.

Re: Governor divorces Wife
Personally, I was supporting Henderson Mayor Gibson for Governor of Nevada. Nevada Dems were stupid not to have nominated him. After Gibbon's scandals, Mayor Gibson would have mopped up the floor with him. The only thing that kept Gibbons in the race was that people disliked Titus more. Jim Gibbons stunk. Titus was worse. The other two Republican candidates that ran in the primaries were ok. (I could have actually voted for one of them) When the race came down to Gibbons and Titus I felt like a had a choice of the wastebasket and the toilet. I'm seriously hoping that Gibbons doesn't seek reelection.
On a side note, I understand that Dina Titus is going to run for Congress against John Porter. I thought that there was no way that Porter could have convinced me to vote for him, however, having Dina Titus as an alternative might be an argument that I hadn't thought of.
