Yucca Mtn is the place where Gibbons want nuclear waste to be stored. It's against the will of the people of Nevada but he really doesn't care about the people he's supposed to represent.

There may not be any "whorehouses" in Vegas but there's plenty of "escort services" that offers "entertainment".

I don't think it's a Clark County rule but rather a state rule that prevents Vegas from having whorehouses.

I don't get what you're saying here. Clark County is the only consistently "Democratic" county in the state and the voters won't tolerate the indecency of whorehouses in their county because they're too unethical. The other counties, save Washoe, accept whorehouses and those counties consistently go to Republicans in presidential elections.

Washoe county also prohibits brothels.

Are they over the 400,000 population limit or they just choose to prohibit them?
When I was in Vegas, it seemed like every 25 feet on the strip, there was someone passing out the "escort" cards. My nephew started a collection of them, much to his wife's dismay!

Those San Fran moonbats should be more concerned with building a facility that removes pollutants from the air, as they are in grave danger of choking to death on that gigantic cloud of smug they have created.

Oh yeah, I remember as a kid my brothers and I would collect them, much to the chagrin of my Bible-Belt-Values mother.

More info here.

You know I'd love to see a George W. Bush brothel. Patrons could clear all the brush they'd like to pass the time.

I'd have to say that during the Bush years, I hear a lot of talk about "respect for the office of President," which sounds suspiciously synonymous with showing respect for the man holding the office (i.e., Bush himself).

I really haven't heard anyone talk about it so I don't know. I just saying that I feel people should have respect for the office, regardless of the man. I've always felt that way, even during the Carter and Clinton years.

It seems like a lot of people want to use it as an excuse to prevent the president from being criticized.

Criticizing is one thing and being totally disrespectful is another.

why a sewage plant? bill brought peace and prosperity to the country... no shit...

But I think a sperm bank would be more appropriate for him...
