Naming a sewage plant is "justice"? What a silly concept. Matt

Re: The George W Bush Sewage Plant
Like I said - There's not much a city can do to bring a president to justice when congress and the courts do nothing. So they use humor.
And you ask what would this accomplish? It shows the rest of the country and the world that one city won't stand by and watch Bush ruin our country without doing SOMETHING. And humor is what SF is using. Bush is a shitty president and deserves a shitty memorial. I'm sorry you guys can't see how funny this is. |

Re: The George W Bush Sewage Plant
Actually, Sam, all it does is reinforce the views of those who look down on San Francisco already, and annoy a few others. It doesn't provide "justice." It accomplishes nothing except making the city look silly and childish and even more out of touch with reality.

Re: The George W Bush Sewage Plant
this isn’t humor and you know it, humor has zero to do with it...I live here remember? I hear on a day to day basis the muck and mire.....they mean it exactly as proposed because they think hes shit and want everyone to know it....you know it know it and they are immature enough to think this matters.....so please.

Re: The George W Bush Sewage Plant
I don't think SF cares about people who look down on them. It's the second best city in the USA IMHO, after NYC.
It makes the city look funny and clever and smart IMHO too. Because SF won't sit by and let Bush have a pass for all the harm he's caused. They will appropriately memorialize a crappy president. If there are people who look down on SF for it's gays, it's humor, it's internet savy, it's beauty, it's war protesting history, and everything else SF is, they've never been there and they should get out more.

All you supposedly soooo mature people who don't find this funny really oughta lighten up. It's a funny, fitting memorial for the worst president in our history. |

Re: The George W Bush Sewage Plant
Sam, just out of curiosity, how would you feel if Houston dedicated a sewage plant as the Susan B. Anthony sewage processing facility?
Maybe the Barack Obama sewage plant? The Martin Luther King Jr. pork waste holding facility in Selma, Alabama? Do you understand that this accomplishes nothing?

Do you understand WHY San Francisco wants to name a shit plant after Bush? You don't seem to understand the concept. Let alone the humor.... |

Re: The George W Bush Sewage Plant
Come on, Sam. You're saying basically that 'cause you dislike Bush, it's fine, but because you like those other people, it's not.

Re: The George W Bush Sewage Plant
Have you been to San Francisco?
In my travels, the people there haven't been significantly different from the people in any other city of similar size.
