In the general I think KBH would be close to unbeatable, but Bill White against Perry could turn the state blue. We shall see.
I really think it's going to be KBH, and I could even see her winning on an independent ticket if she doesn't get the Rep nomination. She's just such a huge name in TX and Dems and Reps alike identify favorably with her.

If they couldn't pick them up in '08, I definitely don't see it happening anytime soon. I think the Reps in the state houses really lucked out with Hurricane Ike. Some of the areas most likely to go Dem kinda lost steam after the storm, and understandably so.

Unfortunately not if it's this guy.

My advice to you is join Knute and promise never to set foot in Texas. That ought to show us.

Lastly, When I group people I am a racist, bigoted, or discriminating, yet when you do it on ageographic basis, it's liberally A-O-Fucking-K. Thats right....we're a bunch of loud mouth cowards..............each and every one of us. Grow up, Mom and Dad would be proud.

Answer the question. Where were all these eminent domain hating Texans when the Rangers were taking land from people? Probably at the range getting ready to murder more children. What a bunch of hypocritical cowards these Texans are.

Yeah junior, and all the people in Nevada are child molestors. No shit, why don't you give achieving a moderate level of maturity a real serious attempt?

Are you too scared to answer the question? In case you've forgotten:

Why didn't Texans rally to prevent the Texas Rangers from taking private property? If you cannot answer this question then it will indeed prove that texans are a bunch of loudmouth cowards who are nothing but all talk.

Re: Texas Governor

You just have to love Ajax. Obviously he's watched too many cartoons or westerns where Texas is filled with rootin-tootin-shootin gunslingers who are walking around on wooden sidewalks with spurs on..........meanwhile tumbleweeds blow by in the backround and oil derricks spout skyward as excited roughnecks yell "GUSHER"!!!!!!!!!
While Texans enjoy rights and freedoms that stand head and shoulders above those in most states, the premise that the state's eminent domain laws be changed thru gunfire and violence is idiotic at best. These battles (like every other state) will be fought in the State legislature.

And yet that's the image Texans project. When they get called on it they resort to...

And when they get called on things like when the Texas Rangers were abusing eminent domain they just attack the person asking the questions. Yellow bellied, loud mouthed, numbnut, cowards these Texans are.

Re: Texas Governor

Perry and Bush came out of the same mold, neither are conservatives (IMO)

I agree with you. I never thought of Bush as really conservative. I would like to pose the question. Could you or anyone else in this thread define (at the state level) what a conservative is. I would prefer if whoever responds to this could refrain from insulting liberals (that accomplishes the same as liberals insulting conservatives, nothing) but rather outline principles and beliefs. Note, disagreeing is not insulting.
