I'm not a Texan. I'm a Georgian. But, as a fellow Southerner, attacking Texans is like attacking my cousins.

Well, there is one of my cousins you're free to attack, but that's besides the point.

Re: Texas Governor

I did not vote for Perry nor do I intend to ever. The guy is a huge jerk. Bill White is was alright for Houston but he is not my choice for Governor. I will wait until the primaries and the general election and find out what everyone's position is before I make a decision. I do know one thing it will never be for Perry.

The district (if that is DC) says 96,2% gun ovnership per capita. Thats a pretty descent amount for a gun ban zone IMO.

According to the link, Wyoming has the highest percentage of gun ownership in the nation at 59.7%, and DC has the lowest at 3.8%.

Are you guys reading the same data I am? Because, based upon your posts we speak a different language.

Um, nope, I'm reading the same thing you are, which is why I said people should be more afraid of WY than TX, if you're going by gun ownership.

Ahh, I wasn't aware you were a Texan. It still doesn't explain Wallaroo's post, however.

Maybe he just skimmed through it too quick.

Given that 96.2% + 3.8%= 100%, surely you must be able to figure out he means that he means 96.2% of folks of DC don't have guns, thus bolstering his anti-gun argument?

English is not his first language, but that's what i think he meant...(i don't agree with his view of guns and their purpose), but i think i get what he means, he just worded it the wrong way round.

(Correct me if i'm wrong Wallaroo).
