Re: no same sex marriage in Maine

I remember someone telling me, a few years ago, that the majority of Americans were not ready to accept gay marriage. Looks like that could be true, considering the results whenever a state leaves it up to the voters. Got to admit that I was even surprised by the results in California. Seems the only time a state accepts gay marriage is when it's done through the higher courts and not through the ballot boxes.

Very few people shoving their strange opinions down the throats of millions of rational citizens does not constitute acceptance on the part of the citizens. Courts impose homosexual "marriage" on states.
