Animals doesn't get the credit it deserves in my opinion. If you like it you should pick up Roger Water's album Amused to Death. It is by far the best solo album and Pink Floyd member ever released.

Re: A music forum

I have been hearing Chris Cornells newest radio release, and haven't been able to find anything on it with (an admittedly quick) google search. Is this a solo work or...?

Oh heh, yeah, was a good job of thread hijacking, esp since it accomplished your goal, without derailing the rest of us

I miss Soundgarden. I'm not too happy with anything he has done solo or with Audioslave. I saw their performance at Live 8 when they played a few Rage covers and he did a terriable job. I'm not really impressed by Audioslave either. They do not really live up to either Soundgarden or RATM. That's how supergroups usually go though. They sound great on paper.

I know what you mean, Audioslave would have been good if the entire CD wasn't just one song, I haven't too much of the new solo stuff, I am just hoping that it isn't the same old story(song and dance ), as it were.

Exactly. Every song is an attempt at another "Like a Stone" hit single. Lame.

10 to 9 for a music forum. It's not exactly a sweeping victory.
