Closing threads

I think that when threads are closed the mod who closes it should say why. There are some threads in the social issues section closed and I can't see a reason why. Just a mod having a power mad day? I think there's some heavy handedness going on sometimes around here. I went to post a reply to an interesting thread and it's not possible.

Your question makes no sense. Do you know why I took a break? It had nothing to do with this topic. Do you think that posters here should have no say at all in mod action? Closing threads for no good reason without explanation is the topic. Do you think it's a good idea?

I think you should just ask the mods. I wouldn't mind if you hadn't already started threads on the same thing. Your always trying to say the mods are power hungry jerks when the truth is that they do not get paid and they work hard to keep the site from losing quality which is actually has anyway as of late. From what I can tell lately the mods need to get a little tougher which they seem to be starting to do since they brought warnings back. I hope it helps.

Anyway, enough with the threads bitching about the mods. You have done it before. You don't have to keep on doing it. What do you want?

What do you think the reason is for closing a thread without explanation?

Sorry I only mentioned one supposed reason for it, power trip.

Maybe a mod will come and tell us what the reason might be for doing that sort of thing.

My annoyance is showing. When I have an idea for a post and I can't post it, I get annoyed. :P Forgive me.

Pretty much. If you thread had been closed I could see the fuss but digging into old threads and starting another one about it rather than just going to the mods seems silly. Looks like you wanted a controversy.
