That would be the mod team at work - or more specfically, Malvolio placed archived threads in their proper place and now the archive section is hidden and I'm toying around with the idea of combining the three branch sections into one US Politics section. Would it be eaiser to have one section instead of three for US Politics? At one time we had only one section, but it was so congested. However, now with three sections, well, one section hasn't had any activity in 3 days. I thought about putting up a poll and asking member opinions.

I'm also getting ready to move campaigns and stuff up to current events since we are about 18 months away from elections.

I recognize my incredible intellectual powers, but such a measure should be done via mod+admin opinion. But I do see a valid point in combining all three branches of government into one forum.

I like to get member opinions too. Without our members the site would cease to exist. We rely on member donations to help with operational costs. We need the site to be be attractive and user friendly to attract and keep new members.

I'm not sure about putting US politics back into one section, but I sure would like to see the various sections under International politics folded into one section.

The idea of just one section for International politics has also been disussed in the mod forum. I've changed it to one section to get rid of the subforums.

Just took a look at the new titles for the US politics sub-forums...I like them. Good job, mods.

One other little suggestion...I think the "Welcome" section and the "Suggestions, etc" section could be folded into one "In-house matters" forum, that is, all issues related to the working of the forum: Welcome, announcements, forum rules, suggestions, questions, etc.
