Our Point system is like the game of Basketball

You know 10 points and youre gone for 5 days. Thats the samething as 5 fouls and youre gone from the game.So when you have 6-8 points thats like 4 fouls you have and you shart whimping out and dont play defense or you get that 5th foul and youre gone. And You cant criticize a mod or the admin here or you get 4 points. Thats like criticizing the Referee to the press on the post game comments. In the NCAA you get a 1 game suspension if you do it. In the NBA you just pay a fine when you do it. So the point system is like a game of Basketball. So now i gotta whimp out and play nice so i dont get another 2 points or more

Re: Our Point system is like the game of Basketball

Given that you spammed the forum with 4 threads the first hour after your suspension was over, I'm thinking that perhaps you didn't actually learn what you were supposed to learn.

Theyre not spam! Spam is someone ruining someone elses thread by not staying with the topic. Rosie is part of the news story just like IMUS was.

Okay, we'll compromise and call it "shit" instead.

Hear, hear! All hear!

Mods, perhaps you should modify the Forum Rules to depict this ...

You know, it could go something like "Play Basketball in the right spirit, or else don't post on USPOL"

Well, actually, if we compromise, we'd have to call it "spit".

Re: Our Point system is like the game of Basketball

This post is kinda on topic so I figured I'd post here because it's about the points one gets for infractions.

I just figured out how to find those through Quick Links on the top of the pages. When I brought it up for the first time, I shocked because it appeared as if I have a lot of points...like 54 of them. There are no column titles for the table; the data in the table looks like this:
Attachment 8734
I can't make heads nor tails of what the columns are. I don't think I have those points, but what do the 30's mean and the "No"s and "Yes"s mean? I imagine there is a simple solution to this, but I surrender; I can't find it.

Re: Our Point system is like the game of Basketball

IIRC, it's 2 points per infraction, 30-day expiration.

If/when you get points (for me it's when), you'll get a PM telling you what points you got and why, and when they'll expire.

Oh, OK. They let you know when you get a chargeable infraction, so I don't need to check the table.

Since my posting frequency has gone up, there will be whens for me, too, I bet.

I finally took the crowbar to my purse and made a donation this evening. I'm gonna play with the search function and see how that works once the account is set up.
